Chrisrmas menus IRAQ 1938,39 No 1 ACC

Hi there

 

I've just received a fantastic photo album from my Grandfather, Bob Roberts, detailing his time in Iraq 1938,39.

 

I've posted some items of interest in the Photos section. Any info about Bob or his service in Iraq would be greatly appreciated, I know that at some point he was a MT Cpl, not sure if it was Iraq though because he served throughout the war and afterwards. I believe his best mate was a guy called Billy O'Neill but that is all I have. Unfortunately Bob has just had to move into a nursing home at the ripe old age of 90. I'm sure it would brighten his day if I could tell him that someone was asking after him.

Hi all,the secretary for the RAF Regt is looking for a series of pictures of the Humber cars used by 1 armoured Car Company/Squadron after WW 2 does anyone have any to submit,it's for a forthcoming book.
